Transparent California Does it Again

Yes sir.  Transparent California is on it.  They've just released data on income and salaries of public employees in key California locations.  To wit, Los Angeles County, Central Valley cities, and Orange County.  As you might have suspected, public employees in these places have enjoyed salaries many times higher than the local median salaries.  In one case, 250 % above the local median salary.  Here is a case where the facts speak for themselves-it pays to work for the government, no matter how small the entity or how insignificant the job or position.
Reminds me of the Meeks Bay Fire District board of Directors that continues to extract major money from the local district budget under the pretense that they deserve it.
Check out the Transparent California blog.  Very rewarding for the effort.
