Tahoma Weather Watch

When was the last time Tahomans had a week of snow in the forecast?  It's been awhile.  So, now, get ready for some of the white stuff.  Amounts will vary day to day, but it appears from NOAA.gov that wet, snowy, windy weather will visit  the Lake basin from tomorrow through next week.  This will set up the entire region for a terrific Christmas season, like the seasons of old.
Resorts will be rolling out the the welcome mats with holiday events: parties, competitions, extra lessons, cross country tours, and night time skiing for the bold of spirit.
Downtown Tahoma will put on the lights, and El Dorado County and Placer County will keep the roads open and swept in a timely fashion.  Seems like Uber Car Service will arrive just in time for a real test.  Will they measure up to the demands of locals and tourists?  We will find out by reading all the reviews on Yelp!
