Homewood Drones

Well, you knew it had to happen, and here it is in Tahoma's backyard.  Homewood Ski Resort is offering a video via a drone of 3 runs at the mountain.  For $149./ per skier, a guest will receive a professionally edited video that can be uploaded to any of several social media sites that the skier desires to share with friends.   now, of course, it's weather dependent, plus quality and accuracy is just as important.  But, it does offer something for those who don't want to be bothered with their own equipment that might spoil the runs during the day.
I'll have to check Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows to see if their services are comparable.  NO doubt, one can get a variation of this service at any or all of the ski resorts.   It replaces the video camera guy who followed you down the run, then gave you the video tape.  Now he just hits send and it's on your phone.  Amazing this technology era we live in.
