Well, it's winter-there's snow on the ground. The Minister of Manufacturing and Minister of Metallurgical Engineering were visiting from SoCal for the week. First question:"Where are the snowshoes?" So, after a few lessons of how to don the equipment, the sun came out and off they went to Meeks Bay Meadow into some nice powder along the creek. Their pup joined them to keep them company. They had a nice experience.
It looks like snow will be here most of the week-good news! All the visitors will enjoy the weather as it develops:cold, maybe some rain during the day at lakeshore, snow above 7000'. Perfect!
Drive carefully.
Lake Tahoe, California's Alpine playground, is anchored on the west shore by Homewood/Tahoma, straddling two counties:Placer and El Dorado. The mayor of Tahoma posts information related to the area and items of interest to residents and visitors alike. Its goal is to be informative, humorous, and timely. Hope you enjoy the site.
