Both teams, Germany and Argentina missed scoring chances in the scoreless first half. Argentina looks like they came to play and have pushed back in Germany's various attacks. Argentina missed a beautiful opportunity after a Teutonic pass went array at midfield. The player streaked to the goal and the defender raced to catch up as the goalie came out. His shot went wide and the Argentinos let out a groan as here was a chance of the match.
A Germann player, Kramer, went off with injuries after trying to stay in after the hit. A hard shoulder contact to his face put him out. We hope he will be fine.
