Argentina: Nearing the Precipice

Within 48 hours the question will be answered:  Will Argentina default again on the country's bond debt?   The finance secretary, Pablo Lopez has been in New York for mediation talks.   It's a staring contest-who is going to blink?   If Christina Kirchner doesn't satisfy the sovereign debt obligation,  she and her countrymen will be toast, cut off from international finance markets and labelled a chronic abuser of contracts and commitments. This is not good, Christina.
Your people, yes, the people who elected you, deserve better.  Those hard working, struggling citizens who have placed their collective trust in your government, they want peace and stability at home.  The Peronists give them promises and some feel good benefits, but without the truth, the true costs.   Give them some of both, they will accept it, maybe.
Your bluster, your feigned contempt for the bond holdouts, your attacks on the US courts(including the Supremes) are unseemly and only serve to diminish your stature as an effective leader, even among your faves in Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, and Brazil.
You've got a few hours left before the lights go out: don't blow it, Madam President.
