Oakland v. Astros: at the O.co Park

You have to love the names these companies tag on these sports facilities.  In Oakland, CA, we have Overstock.com taking naming rights to a new high/low: with O.co.   Hmmm.  How much thought went into this name.  Oh, well.
It was a party with 16 attendees: Mothers, Dads, Moms, kids, friends, anD lots of food.  We had a suite in the Loge section, high above the 3rd base foul pole.  Nice view of all the action, especially long balls hit to left field.
After a warm up with some hot dogs and garlic fries, the real food arrived:  hamburger sliders, bacon wrapped sausages, roast beef sandwiches, lots of FatTire beers, red and white vino, pulled pork and sauteed peppers to top the pork.  With the comfort of an enclosed suite, the windy outside weather was only a factor when somebody opened the door.
The crowd amounted to about 22K, or about 50%-not too bad for midweek against the 'Stros.
Well, despite all the fun, by 10pm it was time to call it quits.  We bailed out to make it home before sun up.  Yes, the A's finally lost in the 11th inning.  But, they're winning tonight-8-2 in the 8th.  Many of our gang were all decked out in Green and Gold attire, shoes and all!
