War in Ukraine

So, the Russyan military onslaught against unarmed civilians continues unabated. Stark photos underscore the depravity of the Kremlin occupants and their agents in the field, the Russyan army troops and their relentless artillery attacks aimed at civilian targets. How sad: a modern country with intellectuals, philosophers, and battalions of academics ready to quote from history and the Greeks and Romans. But, they have arrived in a dark place: modern(sic) Russya, the largest country in the world. But, Mad Vlad is not content with the status quo: he wants to roll back the clock to some other time, the time when Communism ruled the people; when people cowered in fear as the State hovered their daily lives and dictated their every moves.

With the end of Communist rule, a flame of democracy flickered briefly, and the world hoped that change would come and Russya could join the rest of the free world and give human rights and freedoms to those unfortunates who lived through the nightmares of Communism as Stalinism and fascism ruled the vast wastelands of the Siberian steppe and the European section in western Russya. The Czars sent citizens into internal exile, hoping they would stay in the frozen wastes above the Arctic circle. It didn't work. The only thing that worked: the Gulag- the internal prison camps that were home to hundreds of thousands of political prisoners and assorted dissedents who were worked to death, if they were lucky.

So, the "new" Russya is on the march, suffering the scorn of the civilized world as they murder unarmed innocent civilians whose only crime was to be living in Ukraine. Putin and Russyans will be made to pay. They will not win; they will be defeated sooner rather than later.

Victory will come to Ukraine.
