Today, Monday, July 11, 2022, the White House will reveal some of the images captured by the James Webb Telescope. What will be revealed will demonstrate the new dimension of space as we earthlings have come to understand. We will see images that reach deep into space over distances beyond our comprehension-billions of light years distant from planet earth. Don't think about it. Accept this science for what it is: a break through advance that propels our understanding of space and those galaxies found there.
President Biden will make the announcements to the world and the American people. Since the Hubble Telescope began sending images back to earth decades ago, observers have become familiar with fantastical shapes of stars and star clusters nestled among galactic space. Even these photo images awaken us to new ideas about the space we occupy: it's not that much, really. We are but puny occupiers of a very, very, very small space!
But, science isnexcited to be able to share this new information; information we can explore as we begin to understand time and space.
