Well, here we are again: a smoked local atmosphere: the culprit-the Electra Fire over the crest in Amador County near the town of Jackson. This fire, of unknown origin, is partially contained, and as of Sunday morning, is about 50% contained. The particulates visible across the lake are right on the water, whereas the peaks appear clear and distinct. The hot gas balloon was aloft this am, despite the poor visuals. It's all about the Benjamins, not the passenger's experience.
So, we endure another smoke-filled weekend. Maybe we'll see some relief by Friday. We hope. Stay indoors; don't exercise vigorously, and turn on the filter systems in place.
