Morning in Yangon

The Minister is in Mynmar, Yangon actually.   It's Thursday there, and he's enjoying the new city.  Lots to do for a minister with a mission: see as much as you can and connect with as many folks as you can.  So he will as he moves about the country, taking it all in.   He has been advised by the Mayor to extend invitations to Tahoma to all local ministers.   It would be a great coup for the town of Tahoma to host a delegation from Yangon.  What fun.
The Minister promises to negotiate an exchange program if he can find the proper authority.  Not easy in a country just emerging from years of self imposed isolation.  Sad that a culture has to endure those hard times before leaders can see the light and open the door to cross cultural exposure.  But we live in the era of global communication by the internet.  There's no going back.
More to follow.
