Report from Shanghai

Our very own Minister of Latin American Affairs has returned safely from his first venture into modern China.   His 10 day excursion went well, and, aside from some serious jet lag, he is well and happy back in DC.
A full report will be made later this week after he assembles his notes and reflections on the entire experience.   We know he met with various cultural representatives and discussed such topics as environmental pollution control; defense positions; the Vietnamese border problem; the Phillipine Island fishing issue; and of course, US trade and banking status with the valuations of the yuan.
Watch for the full report.
