The Mayor's Office has extended an invitation to a member of the notorious rock group PUSSY RIOT. Her agent who handles speaking engagements promises to return a call asap. We hope Nadya Tolokonikova will be available before the serious winter snows take hold in the Sierra. We will keep the info updated as we find out schedules,etc.
Nadya was quoted only today after a group raised the flag of Ukraine on a 30 story icon building in downtown Moscow. The flag raisers were alleged to have scaled the building then, after the installation and unfurling, they parachuted down to the street, unhurt. The large blue and yellow banner displayed a large message to Mad Vlad and his cronies as the truck convoy on the border with Russia was halted for inspection and control by Ukrainian military forces in the customs zone. The Red Cross assured the government in Kiev that the contents of each vehicle would be carefully inspected before being allowed to proceed.
