The Mayor's office received a text notice of intent to transfer. Our Minister of Latin American Affairs has decided to move to a larger pond with the US Dept. of State. His appointment as an FSO will probably occur around December 1 or January 1, 2015.
This is good news. He will probably continue to wear the hat of our man down south, but he will also wear a new hat: TBD. Of course, our info stream from Foggy Bottom will vastly improve. This will serve to help all Tahomans stay on top of world events even in the most obscure locations. Updates as they happen.
Our Minister has arrived home in DC after an exhausting trip to the Chinese mainland. We are pleased to hear of his safe arrival back on US soil. The trip left him with a URI, but it does not seem to be serious.
