So, you asked for snow around Lake Tahoe? Really? It's winter, so here we are: forecasters paint a white picture around El Dorado County and Placer County, predicting at least 5 days of snow fall of various amounts. While not predicting huge amounts, it is said to be many days of light snowfall, continuously for the next week.
So: plans? Adjust accordingly-1) adequate supplies of all necessities, 2)suitable foodstuffs on hand, 3) backup plans for the inevitable power outages, 4) communications equipment in order, 5) transportation available(fuel tank full), 6) fire wood close at hand, 7) cheap entertainment available(books, mags, CD's, movies, snowshoes, skis, warm clothes, hats, cheap booze, good wines, and maybe a friend to share the time with.
Pay attention, enjoy winter-we live at Tahoe for good reasons and the winters are some of them.
