Snow Report: Good News 2016

State hydrologists reported snow pack conditions yesterday and it's "all" good.  The measurement indicated the snow on the ground is 14% above average for this time of the year.  This bodes well for the state.   It is the most snow measured here in 5 years.  Agricultural interests will immediately breathe a sigh of relief, as they wade through the cutbacks ordered by Sacramento.  While reservoirs are filling, the drought conditions are still with us and it will be awhile before we see any real relief.
Tahoma residents will notice that the shoreline is definitely expanding again as the recent moisture begins to refill our Lake in the Sky.
     Keep skiing.
