NOAA has issued storm warnings for the entire Tahoe Basin region for this weekend, starting NOW.
This has been accompanied by a FLASHFLOOD warning for El Dorado County and Lake Tahoe.
Advice from Tahoma: stay home. Be prepared for power interruptions throughout the weekend. Residents with special needs of any type should be ready to endure harsh weather conditions to include high winds, heavy rain and snow accumulation along Highway 89; Highway 50, and Highway 80. All travel should be curtailed unless an emergency. Medical assistance will generally be unavailable during periods of storm conditions.
