Herman Wouk: at 100

      Noted American writer/author Herman Wouk celebrated hhis 100th birthday this week.  Congratulations, Mr. Wouk.  The prize-winning author of, among others, The Caine Mutiny, resides in Palm Springs, alifornia where he has lived for over 30 years.   The native born New Yorker loves the beauty of the barren hills and mountains, and especially enjoys the quiet of the outdoors life.
