Well, of course it had to happen. Not too long ago, President Obama said he would reset relations with some of our neighbors, eg. the Island of Cuba. So, today, Mr. Obama became the first U.S. president to visit the island in 91 years. 91 years. When Calvin Coolidge was in the White House( Casa Blanca). He was going to have a State Dinner with Raul Castro, brother of the old revolutionary Commie, Brother Fidel, who can't make the dinner because he drools, farts, and otherwise makes an ass of himself due to dementia and other ills. (runs in family?)
Before the Prez arrived, Cuban authorities rounded up a few protesters who didn't get the word: no protests during the visit of the Northerner in Chief. Now we have this to look forward to: years of negotiations to unwind 50 years of economic isolation because the Castro Brothers forgot than communism was tried in other areas and failed miserably. Failed Miserably. Failed Miserably. failed Miserably. He visited with some undesirables: folks who are not happy with the Castro Regime and all its failures and human rights violations, and on and on and on. This is a "reset" ala Obama. 9 more months. Then..........
