The statistics are out. It was revealed that not one Russyan child has been adopted by American parents last year. How could this be? Is it true? Because of Mr. Putin's outlandish land grabs in Ukraine and Crimea, the USA imposed sanctions on individual Russyans and banking and finance companies. In a childish move, the former KGB colonel and vice mayor of St. Petersburg, blocked the adoption of children from Russya by American parents. Who suffers?
Not the American parents, not America, not the birth mother/and father: the child/children, of course. It underscores the attitude of the Russyan president and former prime minister. The current Prime Minister, Mr. Medvedev, has said little, owing to his allegiance to the president of the largest country in the world. Geopolitics aside, any remnant of decency among Kremlinistas has gone the way of history. Using children as pawns is an illustration of serious mental challenges, on a national scale.
