The Mayor joined over 3 million fellow travelers over the 4th of July long weekend. On Sunday, TSA reported over 3 million passengers passed through security gates on their way to their aircraft seats: a record number. The actual number was about 3.01 million passengers. Early flights were almost full, and most other flights were fully booked. It was busy, especially airline hubs. Adding to the mix were Europeans ahead of the August vacay period-a Euro tradition.
Lake Tahoe, California's Alpine playground, is anchored on the west shore by Homewood/Tahoma, straddling two counties:Placer and El Dorado.
