Celtics v. Warriors: Celts Up One

The NBA Finals returned to Boston(the Garden) for Game 3. We Warriors' fans had high hopes, only to be dashed after a 3rd quarter scoring surge behind Steph Curry's magic. Celtics are now in the driver's seat as they hold a 2-1 lead with the next game to be played in Boston. The Warriors had some success, but they got off to a very slow start, and had to spend the first half trying to catch up. Yes, they did it, but at the cost of frantic effort over finesse and deliberate play. The Celts rolled, and played to their strengths, as so often done by Golden State, moving their players to the paint, and focusing on offensive rebounds. This is the downfall of the Dubbs: leaving the boards uncovered, moving back onto defense quickly, trying to have the Celts turnover the ball early near mid-court. Unfortunately, that same strategy worked just fine for Boston, especially late in the game when it looked like Warriors were ready to takeover the entire game.

Next game: Warriors must win or be content to attempt the impossible: win the last 3 in a row, at least one of which will be in Boston. Talk them through this, Coach Kerr!
