Warriors Win One

So, Golden State came back in Game @ of the NBA Finals and secured a tie with the Boston Celtics, for the series : 1-1. Now it's back to Boston for games 3 and 4. The Warriors did not lok good at all in Game 1. After surging to a lead in that game, Boston did not blink. The Warriors looked unbeatable in the 3rd Qtr, but something happened. The 4th quarter was a disaster: Boston outscored the home boys 40-16 and went on to win. The Dubbs looked stunned: what happened? they asked themselves.  It was not the best performance in front of the home town fans. The fans, too, appeared stunned not just by defeat, but also by the convincing score.

Game 2 started and things were different from the start: the pace was slower, Golden State seemed more focused, and did not turn the ball over as much as in the first game. Halftime score was even, and locals held their breath as the 3rd qtr started. Curry and company did not appear to have lost their focus. Soon the City Boys had a commanding lead and the Bostonians would play catchup for the remainder of the contest.  SF flirted with a 30 point lead at times, and the team settled into a comfort zone late in the game. By the end, the Celtics were asking each other: "What just happened?".

        Game 3 on Wednesday.
