Facebook and its founder, Mr. Zuckerberg, have come under scrutiny this week after information was revealed that a sleazy British corporation sucked stored data from Facebook and sold it as their own to political campaigners in the US. Cambridge Analytica has been in business for awhile, but does not have a good record for moral behavior or honest dealings. It's the usual corporate stance: " We give our clients what they want". Hmmmmmm. So, the company's CEO, or King Scumbag, has resigned rather than face the music. He'll slink back to some rathole from whence he came to rethink his moral compass or lack thereof. Lying, cheating, selling whatever it can, Cambridge Analytica represents the worst business instincts currently available. Enter Mr. Zuckerberg.
The EU will now descend on him and his company with a vengeance. He'll be in front of legislative bodies trying to pull the wool over the eyes of media/internet novices who beleive that "something" has happened, somewhere, to someone(maybe a voter).
It all comes down to Facebook's attitude about its billions of users: we own you! We will use you for anything and everything that will help us turn obscene profits because we are a monopoly and we can do it. Now shut up, and go to your Facebook page and give us what we want from you so we can sell it.
