Sam Bankman-Fried has testified in his own defense in court in front of judge and jury. He and his defense team are trying to convince the jury that the collapse of his FTX empire was just a mistake. He said he couldn't remember 142 times during questioning. What a liar.
Prosecutors reveled ample evidence that he knew exactly what he was doing. MIT graduate that he is, cannot claim ignorance, ever. His parents sitting in the courtroom, will no doubt spend the rest of their lives trying to figure out how they went wrong.
But, when 8 billions disappear, people ask questions. Reports from the FTX bankruptcy indicate that some funds have been recovered from the bitcoin collapse. Results are not completely final yet.
Stayed tuned. The trial will soon end and SBF will see his life in color when the verdict is read in court.
