It was only a question of when, and now we know: Squaw Valley will host skiers through the July 4th summer weekend. With record amounts of snow "on the ground", it's a natural to offer the chance to ski while basking under the summer sun. Always looking for a draw to the location at the end of winter, it seems this is a chance to do just that.
Keep your gear handy after Memorial Day; folks will be skiing locally in the morning and rafting on the Truckee River in the after noon, and wake boarding on the Lake before 5 o'clock cocktail hour. Viva California.
