It's official: Spring has arrived on the West Shore. Beautiful weather has created those ideal spring season conditions: cold nights with sunny days, no wind, no life lines, no chains required. Highway 89 is open all the way to south shore, making locals happy that have to go alllllllllll the way to Placerville to conduct some county business with that recalcitrant authority: El Dorado County.
But, come on, it's Springtime! That big light bulb in the night sky-a full moon. Ahhhhh, after a winter like we've had, it's nice to see Spring. Celebrate. Take a swim in the Lake. Hook a Mack', cook a steak outside(where's the Weber-under the snow?)
We should see a lot of visitors this weekend. Welcome to Lake Tahoe in Spring.
Lake Tahoe, California's Alpine playground, is anchored on the west shore by Homewood/Tahoma, straddling two counties:Placer and El Dorado. The mayor of Tahoma posts information related to the area and items of interest to residents and visitors alike. Its goal is to be informative, humorous, and timely. Hope you enjoy the site.
