Amnesty International and Mr. Alexei Pichugin

London resident Mikhail Khodorkovsky wrote a piece for a national newspaper that asked that AI add a name to their list of "prisoners of Conscience."  The name Alexei Pichugin probably doesn't ring a bell, but it should.  He was arrested by Russyan police in 2003. Since then-over 5000 days- he has been held in prison after being convicted of "several murders".  Western democracies and Interpol have deemed these convictions bogus.   Russya hopes that his continued incarcerarion will lead him to turn staes evidence against Mikhail Kodorkovsky who was released from prison after pressure from AI and other international players/states.
Four years ago, Mr. Kodorkovsky was allowed to leave prison and the country after 10 long years behind bars.  This is how V.V. Putin plays the 'control' game among his chosen people.  "C  ross me at your peril'.  Mr. Pichugin wil not and has not deviated from his position: he will not lie to win his own freedom.  This is the srgument for his name to be added to the list of prisoners of conscience.  It is a sound argument in the face of Putin's continued efforts to control his revisinist policies regarding the government of the country-largest country in the world.
Contact Amnesty International and ask for the name to be added.
