What's Up, North?

Canada, a topic of discussion after Trumpie made a few pointed remarks about its government leaders. Seems a few western Canadians took notice: residents of Alberta have voiced a possible movement to independence by becoming a separate country. The oil and gas soaked province is at odds over Canada's policies regarding the extraction providers. A turn toward renewable energy has the energy companies reconsidering Ottawa's public comments directing resources to solar and wind projects.

Trumpie says maybe Canada should be absorbed as a state. Maybe Alberta will lead the entire country to become a state. No. 51?  Hmmm. How would that go with the Quebecois? Stir things up in the eastern regions, for sure. All the politics surrounding the pipelines, construction woes, and heaped on all this are the recent wild fires that have sent smoke over the southern border with America. Do we need more air pollution around the Great Lakes? No. No. No.

MAybe the new Prime Minister, Mr. Carney, will take up the issue. Maybe Trumpie will reduce tariffs again. MAybe not.
