Summer arrives today: northern hemisphere. The sunlight hours around the globe can reach almost 24 hours in the Arctic above the Arctic circle. Hard to imagine as one follows the arc of the sun. It rises and achieves the zenith then dips, dips some more, then more, then rises again. Tough to get a good night's sleep. Perhaps your room is already outfitted with 'blackout' drapes. Maybe not.
So, summer festivals will be in full swing as the long days combined with vacation trips put people on the move to: the beach; the mountains; the rivers and lakes; and those snow bound locations of winter that now offer balmy temps and those long days.
Take advantage; get outside, have a look. Smile a lot, talk, sing, dance. Forget those troubles of yesterday.
