Answer: Belarus!. As reported by state media outlets, the Old Chef who has been on the run since last weekend, finally showed up. His status is unclear, but at least for the moment, he's still sucking oxygen like the rest of us. So what does a former mercenary/chef/billionaire/military wannabe/sadist/has been do now? Well, with his funds tucked away in Switzerland or Bermuda or Cayman Islands, he'll flit around town, seeking the comfort of some of Belarus' comfort women.
He'll hire security which will always be suspect, and attempt to patch things up with his sponsor, Vova back in St. Petersburg, scene of their coming together oh those many years ago(30+).
The media pundits are doing their collective best to keep the lights on the situation but it will become much harder as the war in Ukraine moves back to the front page. Yes, troops are still fighting despite the quashed rebellion by the Wagner Group. What will happen to the WAgner Group? Seems that an amnesty of sorts has been declared and fighters from the mercenary units have begun turning in their weapons. This will cause some disruption in the Russyan army plans since the leadership will no longer have to cope with the renegade murderer now hiding somewhere in Belarus.
