Well, now. Aren't we special? We self arranged a visit with the President of Russya, Mr. Putin hisself. How does this happen that a bunch of school boys from the UK(alias The BREXIT BUNCH) get a private audience with one of the world's busiest leaders? One of the boys said that he sent over 1040 emails to Kremlinistas to facilitate this meeting. Further investigation revealed that the head abbot of the Russyan Orthodox Church hand significant influence on the Kremlin chief of staff.
So, we get to be a witness to a special event- a photo op/PR stunt ala Western media conventions. This convention dictates that the most powerful meets with the least powerful: it makes a great contrast of positions, a media fave. So the fresh-faced elite boys get to shake hands, chitchat, hangout, and otherwise rub elbows with the leader of the largest country in the world. The BBC took advantage and spread out the event for the world. Maybe Harvard students will be next, or maybe Yale or..........??????
How about some South African students from Cape Town? Don't hold your breathe.
