The weekend edition(Sat/Sun) of the Wall Street Journal tops its editorial page with coverage of the case concerning our local administrative entity: El Dorado County(the folks down the hill on Highway 50/Placerville). The case : Sheetz v. County of El Dorado will be heard this Tuesday in front of the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. It could be a majoy property rights case with far-reaching economic implications, especially for us here in Tahoma, CA.
Lake Tahoe, California's Alpine playground, is anchored on the west shore by Homewood/Tahoma, straddling two counties:Placer and El Dorado. The mayor of Tahoma posts information related to the area and items of interest to residents and visitors alike. Its goal is to be informative, humorous, and timely. Hope you enjoy the site.
