Election Tuesday

A few elections will take place around the country today.  A few new governors will be elected : 1 in Virginia and 1 in New Jersey.  Both will be carefully watched for indications of what's to come in 2018.   Namely, will the Congressional mix be altered or will Republicans maintain their hold on a two-house majority.  I would venture that the Dems, despite their lack of leadership and unseemly behaviors in the 2016 elections, will gain a significant number to control at least the Senate, if not the House.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will put his tail between his legs and slink off to oblivion after his fall from grace related to the Bridgegate scandal that caused a furor in new jersey and new York when his minions effectively shut down a highway bridge that leads to Manhattan across the Hudson River.  Not too smart.
