Homewood Mountain Resort

Can JMA Partners survive the latest obstacle to their development plans? It is doubtful, given their extended projects and local competition. JMA , the San Francisco based owners, are certainly not gamblers, and to look at this project realistically from here on out, would indicate that it is too risky to plunge ahead, defending a legal broadside from the Sierra Club and a bunch of octogenarian opponents from Homewood who detest change of any sort.
So, maybe Obama will give some funds for a high speed rail project around the lake that would relieve traffic, or maybe a high speed catamaran ferry service that could whisk skiers, homeowners, and tourists to their lakeside destinations.
In the meantime, locals better prepare fpr a long economic downturn withput any prospects of a turnaround for 10-20 years.
