A U.S. Senator from Ohio, J.D. Vance, wrote a book. It was well received. It became a best seller. He told a story about growing up in Appalachia where he was raised primarily by his grandparents-the Vance family whose name he adopted. After attending Middleton high school, he joined the Marine Corps and he served a tour in Iraq assigned as a public affairs clerk with an aviation wing. After the marines, he attended Ohio State U. After graduation, he went to Yale Law School an obtained his JD degree. After various positions in the tech business and other financial areas, he founded his own investment group with help from contacts in tech. Shortly there after, he began thinking of politics and came out against candidate Trump, denouncing him repeatedly. However, he changed his tune and softened his rhetoric against DJT. And now, he's a Trumper!
He's been called a number of names now and the best is "a completely immoral sycophant". I love the term sycophant- it says so much. Pundits like to use it when describing toadies around pols who make ridiculous statements on many topics. And now, as candidate Trumpie -convicted felon, rolls on the campaign trail, prospective vice-presidential are lining up, ready and willing to pledge undying fealty to the orange-haired reality TV huckster/showman. J.D. Vance is one of those who would like to fill the shoes formerly worn by Mike Pence. Remember Mike? He saved the republic on January 6th. Then he was denounced by Trumpie. J.D. is a youngster without legislative experience beyond his Senate office. No, he wasn't a small town mayor. No, he wasn't a city councilman. NO, HE WASN'T ...........He was just a candidate once.
So, now we have a " completely immoral sycophant" who wants to be Trumpie's VP. Oh, please.
