The Prince of January 6th will have a nice weekend, Memorial Day weekend, to boot. He can speculate with his toadies about the likely outcome of the jury's deliberations. Will the first former president in US history become a convicted moron or not? That is the question of the day, month, year. Old trumpie will probably need a few drinks to calm his nerves. He doesn't really drink, but maybe now, he will imbibe a tad of fire water.
Melania is probably trying to assuage his fears of conviction, while his support team are playing the game that Trumpie wins no matter the verdict. Heads I win; tails you lose. Perfect. The media are writing copy for each outcome. Pundits are shaping stories that will identify all the legal reasons causing a guilty verdict and a not guilty verdict. What fun to be a staff writer of the NY Times or the Wall Street Journal. Oh, the glory. Plays like WaterGate redux. But, no matter, Trumpie will have talking points aas he hits the campaign trail to take up the Anti-Biden rhetoric again. Old Sleepy Joe is ramping up his speeches to reflect the outcome and how it peratins to his campaign. Oh, the joy.
And the electorate across the country will grown under the weight of another 5 months of pathetic political punditry.
