Another death brought the death toll to 9 among the victims of the concert in Houston. The many lawsuits that will follow have begun in earnest against the organizers, the star, and the city. Media outlets talked with security consultants who offered a multitude of excuses for the crowd's behavior. Very sad that many of the victims were children or very young adults. Remember: it's all about the benjamins/$$$.
What rational thinking person would enter such a venue? Security? Please. What one sees at these concerts are rent-a-cops with little or no training. What could be expected of any individual at such an event? Nothing, really. Live Nation must be held responsible for what happened. Who thinks this is a good idea: to have thousands thrown together into a mob scene, smashed together, no exit, no chance. The local police also have some responsibilty, and all the pols who signed of on this miserable excuse of a local "attraction. Good for Houston? Good for Texas? Hmmmmmm. Well, it is fitting that it is Texas, a state filled with crazies.
