Well ski fans, I hope you've had your fill of of winter thrills. This weekend marks the end of this year's ski season at Homewood Ski Resort. It's been interesting, that's for sure. With a dirth of storms and the snow that didn't arrive, locals had to do with man-made snow most of the time. Not ideal, but, we made it work. Now heap Covid-19 on top of the season and one has to believe that any ski days were good days.
Crowd controls were dictated by a higher authority- generally by the doofuss in the Governor's seat, Governor Nuisance. He worked with federal orders from the C.D.C. and the two often issued confusing, conflicting, and sometimes with changes made on the fly: closed, somewhat closed, maybe open, not so open, limited open, masks required, 6' distancing, etc. It's enough to make your head spin off. Oh well, there will be a next year.
Did you get your vaccination yet? Good idea if you like living. The MAyor has been vaccinated, and ALL of his staff. The MAyor will not do business with anyone who has not been vaccinated and that policy will be followed to the letter for the foreseeable future. Like it or lump it.
