Giants Blow Lead in 9th

So, the Giants.  Looking at going back to Chicago for a Game 5 in the top of the 9th inning, they got a shock: a 4 run rally from the Cubs.  Bruce Bochy chose not to keep Matt Moore as his main man.  Instead, he went to the bull pen.  One after the other, all his relievers failed to hold back the Cubs.  A hit, a walk, a hit.  5-3.  Then a double: now tied 5-5.  More pitching changes.  Another hit, 6-5.
In the bottom of the 9th, the Giants met their match: fireballer Chapman.   He could not be touched: 3 up, 3 down.  So ends the 2016 season for San Francisco.  Despite making the playoffs as a wild card team, their inherent weaknesses took their toll.   Even as the hitting improved, the bullpen could not hold the lead.   And they were playing on their home turf at AT&T Park.
So, good for the Cubs.   They haven't won it all in over 100 years.  Maybe this is the year, finally.  Time will tell.  Can they best Washington or Los Angeles?  I think so.  Neither of those two have all the tickets they need to get to the big Dance.  But, it's baseball.  Anything can happen, as we just saw.
