Late Season Snow Falling
What? SNow in April? There it is: 2'-4' of powder to enhance the experience of Spring skiing in Tahoe. This late storm will top all recent snow pack measurements by the State water resource folks from down Sacramento way. Interstate 80 was closed down this week for a few hours due to conditions brought on by ; SNOW!
TAhoma welcomes the powder even though it doesn't help much in the village.
Social Security Chaos: Welcome to Trumpville
Oh, sure. We don't need all those workers. Stephen Miller, et al, architects of Project 2025 plan to reduce government spending to pay for tax breaks for billionaires, have taken the sledgehammer to a very populist program here in the US. It's called Social Security designed and implemented by Franklin D. Roosevelt. It has been a blessing for seniors ever since, reducing poverty in retirement and providing a dependable benefit for workers of all groups in the USA.
So, now what is happening is a reduction in the work force that operates the program to include staffing levels, program information availability, and contact information phone lines. Today, it has been reported that wait times on the phone can be 100 hours. Seems excessive. Also, even on the internet, the system has problems now and signals indicate a shutdown/breakdown. trump appointee, Leland Dudek, is focused on denying benefits to the State of Maine, Sen. Susan Collins state. She has already made phone calls to reverse some of the partisan order from Dudek.
These repercussions were predicted. These problems were anticipated and Terumpie's stooges were advised accordingly. Did his hand -picked staff do their homework? Did they tell Trumppie what would happen on Day 1 of new policies? Did anyone with a brain listen? Does anyone in the White House know anything? Hmmmmm.

Trumpie's Stooge Begins the House Cleaning at HHS
In the ongoing campaign by the White House to deflect attention from itself, the Secretary of HHS, the certified Crazy, Robert Kennedy, began the physical assault on the health of a nation, the assault on the world's greatest nation, the magnet for the entire world. He's firing over 10,000 employees he deems surplus to the needs of a system rife with bloat and inefficiency.
So, when in doubt, fire the masses. These 10's of thousands will descend on the unemployment offices scattered about the urban landscapes wherever they are found. The bewildered searchers will ask for assistance and be told, "Get in line, and remain silent until your number is called.
