DJT's former spokesman, Steve Bannon, had his appeal denied by the Supreme Court for his conviction on charges of Contempt of Congress for refusing to respond to a subpoena to testify in front of a committee investigating January 6th riot in Washington, DC. Mr. Bannon, the conspiracy-speaking radio host, will serve time in a minimum security facility in Connecticut. His sentence is 4 months long; or, in parlance of incarcerated prisoners-the blink of an eye.
This will hardly test this old hate-spewing demagogue; he deserves far more than this slap on the wrist. Even if DJT is elected in November, Bannon will have served his 4 months. The time begins Monday, July 1, 2024. A fine day to look forward to: some justice.
