On Trial: Evan Gershkovich in Russya

Wall Street Journal reporter, Evan Gershkovich, is on trial in Yakaterinaberg, a city in western Siberia. His trial is being carried out in secrecy, the Russyan way of "justice" which has nothing to do with justice and everything to do with Kremlin dictators. Old Mad Vlad likes to have his hostages twist in the wind. On this occasion, he has a much-liked, high profile American hostage. What could be better? Two of the same? Old Kremlin Scum wants Pres. Joe Biden to keep thinking about Russya, especially as Pres. Joe steps into the debate with Old Orange Hair, the earliest debate in an election year.

Evan has been held captive by his Russyan hosts for over 14 months since his arrest, allegedly for espionage. An accredited by Russya reporter/journalist working for one of the largest newspaper in the USA: Rupert Murdoch's Wall Street Journal. (Hey, Rupert, what have you done for Evan lately?) Or maybe we should ask his son, Lachlan, now running the paper,( Rupy is engaged with his 5th wife and doesn't want to be disturbed).

The Kremlin likes to create an air of mystery around its trials of citizens/humans that are deemed a threat. Old Paranoia himself, Josef Stalin, enjoyed watching those Russyans selected to be sent to the Gulag or to the basement to twist in the dock as the Kangaroos on the bench read the verdict: Guilty. Mad Vlad is the same, laughing as he watches Evan in the dock, listening intently to his fate as life passes him bye.

Recently, two high military officers in the Russyan army were charged with war crimes in Ukraine. These two high profile Russyans sherked off these charges, calling them a sham from a sham organization. They will have travel restrictions placed on their future(s). Neither responded to requests for comment. Of course, they are both walking on egg shells as one of their comrades was charged with corruption after the wife of one general bought a Mercedes Benz for $200,000 on a salary of $3000. Hmmmm.

So, the ongoing saga of Evan Gershkovich continues, reminding the US population that Siberia and its inhabitants are still there, wallowing in the swamp created in Moskva by VOVA, aka Mad Vlad.
