Tahoe Ski Resorts Will Not Accept Walk-Up ticket purchases
So, in the interest of public safety concerns and to facilitate the accomodation of online ticket purchasers, resorts will not sell day use tickets. This departs from long time practice which answers to the variability of weather and concomitant arrival of skiers on any given day. This will play havoc with resorts and will prove itself useless in the trenches. When the time comes to sell a ticket or not, most resorts will practice good business: sells to the customer at the window with the cash.
Who comes up with these schemes? Santa? Newsom? Trump? Harry Reid? The public response to virus spread varies. Where people read and gather information, they make decisions based on facts, not fake facts and rumors put out by partisan deniers who abound in California. So when the white stuff starts falling and you want to ski, go for it.
