How does this happen? Dr. R. Abraham, No. 2 at the HHS under Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. , has the audacity to say this is the cost of doing business. My, my, my. What a statement to make to parents and families of those victims of this contagious disease. The Outbreak has infected over 800 citizens and has forced health officials to quarantine many times that number because of exposure to those infected already.
Dr. Abraham is a known vaccine skeptic and has railed against requiring vaccinations for infants and others following his leader's position as a voice for those who object to vaccine requirements. And now, we have the results of this government led pullback for decades of public health success eliminiating the measles virus, one of the most if not the most contagious virus known.
why South Carolina? Simple: ignorance among a susceptible population of under educated citizens led by under educated politicians and health professionals. If I was a doctor in South Carolina, I'd packed my bags and leave the state immediately, if not sooner. How about those politicians who are from South Carolina and now reside in Washington, D.C. in Congress? Sad, really. Will the tiny victims recover? Time will tell while their parents struggle to keep them alive.
