Hmmm. remember winter? Usually shows up in California in NOvember. Well, it's back after holding off for more than 6 weeks. The storms hitting the West Coast have caused flooding in Washington State, parts of Oregon, and now it's California's turn. There's a flood watch in NorCAl.
In San Francisco, a fire in a PG&E substation caused power outages in the western parts of the City and several parts of the South of Market area. About 130,000 households were affected. Most parts have had power restored excepting the Richmond district.
Rain is currently lashing MArin and Sonoma Counties, with more on the way. Stay alert, especially driving at night when it's difficult to see flooding on roads and highways.
