Let's see: Trump built a wall, partially. Didn't work to stop illegal entry in Texas. Now Governor greg Abbott has a new idea: a line of floats 4' tall in the middle of the Rio Grande that will work as a barrier against illegal crossing of the border separating the US and it southern neighbor, Mexico. Are you kidding me? A floating barrier. Hmm. Too much tequila, Greg. How about floating platforms with diving boards, lounge chairs, hot dogs and beer. I'd stop there, too.
ANd how much crazier can it get down south? Nobody knows, least of all Texans.
