 UConn wins its 5th title, prevailing over Cinderella team-San Diego State. It didn't look good for the Aztecs from the get go, with UConn's dominating offense. Try as they might, the SoCAl team could only get so close before the easterners extended their lead to a comfortable 10-12 points throughout. As the clock wound down and the gap remained the same, San Diego players lost their heart, lost hope, and accepted the situation that would not change. Next year.
