Meeks Bay Master Plan : Update

        The USFS has drafted an update on improvements in Meeks Bay. A draft report is available and a 60 day review period is now beginning. Essentially, the plan restores the Meeks Creek estuary, restores the natural flow course of the creek vic. Highway 89 bridge, and builds a public access pier into Lake Tahoe. Also, camp grounds on both sides of the creek will be improved to make the camping experience a better one for those looking for  outdoor fun.
