So wild fires continue to plague the Sierra, Tahoma suffers some of the worst air quality in the state.

Stay home, don't breathe, it could be hazardous to your health. Remain calm. Will Gov. Newsom know what to do? Don't count on it. He's trying to figure out what to do about school for all his kids. Maybe he'll get some parental leave. I think that's the perfect solution: governor takes leave to educate his children. But we know, he'll hire an expensive tutor and bill the taxpayer. Looking around, it doesn't take one a long time to realize AQI is poor all over the state of California, especially in the LA Basin, the SF BAy Area, and north near the CAl/Oregon border. The heavily burdened air, loaded with particulates from burning trees and structures, is locked against the mountainous landscape, waiting to be purged by a seasonal cyclonic storm that historically will dampen the infernos and provide relief to the firefighters on the lines and the displaced who have had to evacuate their homes in the past few weeks. In several towns in southern Oregon, hundreds of homes have burned to the ground. Businesses have been reduced to rubble, and civic leaders will now be tasked with the rebuilding of communities. It won't be easy as all victims have to cope with the Covid pandemic that has plagued the States for over 6 months.
